MotoGP organization Dorna Sports will arrive to Finland in the end of summer.
Dornas management will meet Finnish administration and representatives from KymiRing in Helsinki on August 2017. After negotiations, they will organize media conference, where official MotoGP organizer Dorna Sports will announce with lead by CEO Carmelo Ezpeleta, the exact date for the first KymiRing MotoGP race. Dorna has already agreement a five years contract for organizing MotoGP race in KymiRing Grand Prix circuit and the first race date will be solved out during this summer. Races will generate extensive international attention and upcoming races improves interest with Finnish motorsport fans. The last world champion races in the Nordic countries have been raced in Sweden Anderstorp circuit in 1990 and in Finland 1982 at Imatra. MotoGP is the most followed two-wheels race and even 100.000 spectators are attending per event every time.
